GOOD TIMES ON MUSTIQUE
Champagne at the Cotton House, Martinis at the Firefly or Hairoun beer at Basil's ‘jump up’
Mustique is more family playground than members’ club
You may see a familiar face drinking drambuies barefoot at the bar as another pulls a tune from the old piano. Captains of industry might referee the beach volley competition, while european royals line up to shoot pool. The main thing to know is that what happens on mustique stays on mustique…
The island of Mustique

The whole island is invited for drinks at this weekly event. Regulars ride up barefoot in their golf carts – locally named ‘mules’ – making sure to pay attention to any tortoises crossing the sand-strewn roads. The perfect time to arrive is just as the sun sets over endeavour beach as that is when the rums really start to flow.
Don’t miss the firefly martini club...
Hedonists can jump back in their mules at closing time for a final round at firefly. Drink all 14 martinis on the menu to collect your firefly martini club t-shirt. It’s an interesting challenge, but maybe best to spread it out over the week – you’re not obliged to get through them all in one sitting.
Best explored under sail
Although there are many options available when visiting mustique, none are quite so well suited to the atmosphere of the island as a luxury sailing yacht. This is a place where life passes quietly and unhurried. After a week on the island, a week onboard a yacht like panthalassa could make the perfect laid back combination.
